GE Vernova is seeking a Field Services Engineer to join our team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role is suitable for recent graduates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on service and maintenance activities for customer sites and properties. The position involves contributing to the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of sold or existing products, encompassing both preventive and corrective maintenance services.

Role Overview

The Field Services Engineer is responsible for the quality of their work, operating under direct operational supervision with prescribed work instructions and system verification. Tasks are performed within a well-defined operational framework, typically following a detailed sequence of standard operational tasks to achieve desired results. This role requires developing conceptual knowledge of the professional discipline and applying business management knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site life extensions, repairs, and inspection-related service activities for installed fleets.
• Provide supervision for the construction and commissioning of new and existing equipment at customer sites.
• Conduct on-site machining, non-destructive testing, and diagnostics for blades, windings, critical welds, and generators.
• Make engineering decisions as required during service activities.
• Solve problems using established procedures, consulting supervisors for issues outside defined instructions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical challenges.
• Develop strong customer relationships and serve as an interface between the customer and GE Vernova, exchanging technical information and verifying understanding.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate engineer with 0-1 years of experience.
• Ability to apply business management knowledge acquired through studies or previous experience.
• Understanding of how individual work contributes to the overall field.
• Capable of making engineering decisions.
