Field Services Engineer

About the Role

GE Vernova is seeking a Field Services Engineer to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role focuses on providing essential service and maintenance for installed products at customer sites. The position is suitable for graduate engineers with 0-1 years of experience, contributing to the upkeep, repair, and overhaul of existing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service activities including term extensions, repairs, and inspections for installed fleets.
• Supervise the construction and commissioning of new and existing equipment at customer locations.
• Execute specialized tasks such as on-site machining, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), blading, winding, critical welding, and generator diagnostics.
• Apply general business knowledge and contribute to team objectives.
• Solve problems using established procedures, escalating issues outside defined parameters to supervisors or senior team members.
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical challenges and develop strong customer relationships.
• Communicate technical information clearly to customers, ensuring understanding.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate engineer with 0-1 years of experience.
• Ability to work within a precisely defined operational framework and follow prescribed work instructions.
• Demonstrated commitment to the quality of one's own work.
