Field Services Engineer

About the Role

AIQU is seeking an experienced Field Services Engineer for a 12-month extendable contract. This role is primarily site-based across Saudi Arabia, with a focus on assignments within the Eastern Region, specifically Dammam. The position requires a professional with a strong background in field service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning and troubleshooting of systems.
• Work with RTU and OpenEnterprise (OE) systems, including interfacing and integration.
• Address hardware and software related issues in the field.
• Manage networking, field instrumentation, and industrial communication protocols.
• Operate across various project and site locations within KSA as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a field service engineering role.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with RTU and OpenEnterprise (OE) systems.
• Strong experience in commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of RTU interfacing and integration.
• Strong knowledge of both hardware and software components.
• Experience with networking, field instrumentation, and industrial communication protocols.
• OpenEnterprise training or exposure is required.

Additional Requirements

• Comfortable working across different project and site locations in KSA.
• Offshore safety requirements and certifications such as BOSIET, H2S, and ODUK medical are relevant for this role.
• A valid driving license is considered an advantage.
• Candidates with up to 30 days' notice period will be considered.

Work Environment

This is a contract position based in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia, primarily Dammam, with assignments across various sites in KSA. The role requires regular travel to project locations.
