About the Role

Matar Al-Baqami Holding is seeking a Finance Manager to lead and manage the financial operations of its Agri Business Divisions. This full-time position, based in Dammam, Eastern Province, is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust budgeting, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Finance Manager will provide strategic financial support, maintain strong financial controls, and guide the finance team to support sustainable business growth and financial stability.

Key Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will oversee all financial aspects, providing leadership and strategic guidance across several key areas:

• Leading financial reporting, analysis, and strategic financial planning.
• Ensuring comprehensive accounting and regulatory compliance.
• Managing cash flow, treasury operations, and financial controls.
• Developing and mentoring the finance team to achieve high performance.

Financial Reporting and Strategic Planning

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP/IFRS.
• Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide timely financial reports and insights to senior management, including recommendations for enhancing financial efficiency and profitability.
• Develop and monitor dashboards and KPIs for continuous financial performance tracking.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities.
• Create financial models and conduct scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making, including new investments, cost-reduction initiatives, pricing strategies, and CapEx planning.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial objectives with overall business strategy and growth plans.

Accounting, Compliance, and Treasury Management

• Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, tax regulations (Zakat, VAT, WHT), and audit requirements.
• Oversee general accounting, month-end close processes, and ledger accuracy.
• Manage tax planning, preparation of tax returns, and coordination with external tax advisors.
• Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring audit readiness and enforcing financial discipline across business units.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity.
• Oversee banking relationships, payment cycles, and treasury operations.
• Implement strategies to optimize cash utilization and minimize financial risks.

Financial Controls and Team Leadership

• Strengthen internal financial controls, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and governance frameworks.
• Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and financial transparency.
• Ensure proper risk management and internal audit compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and capability building.
• Allocate responsibilities, monitor workload, and ensure timely deliverables, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional Certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA are highly preferred.
• A minimum of 12 years of total experience in Finance.
• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role leading finance teams.
• Experience in Agri, Manufacturing, FMCG, or multi-division business environments is preferred.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and compliance.
