The Role of Fitter, Welder

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing a variety of fitting and welding tasks, ensuring all work is completed with high accuracy and strict adherence to safety protocols. This position plays a vital part in the ongoing maintenance and reliability of essential steel plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned fitting and welding jobs efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with safety standards and established timelines.
• Understand and proficiently perform a range of maintenance activities specifically related to steel plant machinery and infrastructure.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Fitter or Welder, ideally within a heavy industrial or steel plant environment.
• Possess sufficient skills comparable to a Senior Mechanical Technician, enabling effective performance of duties within a steel plant setting.
• Proven knowledge and practical expertise in conducting maintenance activities on various types of steel plant equipment.

Work Setting and Employment Type
