FLS Technician

About the Role

Hilton is seeking a FLS Technician to join its team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time position involves performing daily maintenance tasks related to fire and life safety systems within the hotel environment. The role focuses on ensuring the operational integrity and compliance of all safety equipment to provide a secure experience for guests and staff.

Role Overview

The FLS Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire and life safety systems. This position is integral to the hotel's safety protocols, ensuring all systems are functional and ready for any potential incident. The role requires a proactive approach to safety and a commitment to maintaining high standards of operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, fire pumps, and other fire and life safety equipment.
• Perform scheduled testing, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of fire and life safety systems to ensure continuous operation and compliance.
• Respond promptly to reported fire and life safety system faults, assisting in resolution or escalating issues as necessary.
• Regularly inspect designated hotel areas to identify potential fire and life safety hazards and report any issues requiring attention.
• Accurately record inspections, tests, maintenance activities, and system faults in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Assist with emergency response procedures, fire drills, and testing of emergency systems to ensure hotel preparedness.
• Support the Engineering Team with other fire and life safety-related maintenance tasks and departmental projects as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience required: 0-1 years in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance and inspections of fire and life safety systems.
• Understanding of safety protocols and emergency preparedness.
