About the Role

Seven Executive is seeking a Head of Quality Control for a leading HVAC-R manufacturer located in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, senior leadership position is responsible for leading the entire Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) function across the Dammam manufacturing facility. The role involves owning the Quality Management System, driving manufacturing quality improvements, and ensuring alignment with international standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full QA and QC functions within an HVAC-R coil manufacturing facility.
• Own and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Oversee quality control processes across incoming materials, in-process inspections, final inspections, and product testing.
• Develop and implement quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing methodologies.
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage customer complaints, warranty claims, quality investigations, and resolution processes.
• Lead internal and external audits, certification activities, and customer quality assessments.
• Establish and monitor quality KPIs focused on reducing defects, scrap, rework, and customer returns.
• Partner cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to improve product quality and manufacturing performance.
• Promote a culture of quality ownership and operational excellence across the organization.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience in quality roles within HVAC coil, heat exchanger, or similar manufacturing environments.
• 5+ years of experience leading quality teams within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong people leadership and team development capabilities.
• Proven ability to improve manufacturing quality performance and implement structured quality processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and commercial teams.

Technical Knowledge

Candidates must possess strong technical knowledge of HVAC coil manufacturing processes, including:

• Evaporator coils
• Condenser coils
• Chilled water coils
• DX coils
• Copper tube expansion
• Fin press operations
• Brazing
• Pressure testing
• Leak testing

Quality and Continuous Improvement Methodologies

Hands-on experience with the following quality and continuous improvement methodologies is required:

• FMEA
• APQP
• SPC
• MSA
• 8D
• CAPA
• Six Sigma
• Lean Manufacturing
