About the Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join their team in Dammam. This is a full-time position requiring 1-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Heavy Duty Mechanic will be responsible for a range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the operational readiness of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. This role involves hands-on work and adherence to safety protocols.

• Assisting with brake system repairs and overhauling.
• Performing mechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Conducting tire repairs and replacements.
• Assisting with welding tasks as needed.
• Carrying out mechanical repairs on trucks and flatbed vehicles.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the work area.
• Ensuring all tools are properly maintained and stored after use.
• Performing other related duties as assigned by management.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E)

Adherence to organizational HS&E policies and safety instructions is paramount. This includes maintaining personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting any safety concerns.

• Understanding and complying with organizational HS&E policies.
• Following all safety instructions relevant to assigned tasks.
• Reporting damaged PPE, unsafe machinery, or equipment to the appropriate staff.
• Keeping provided PPE in good, workable condition.
• Avoiding horseplay and the misuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities.
• Reporting all accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to the responsible personnel.
• Attending scheduled safety training sessions.
• Having the right to refuse any unsafe work.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess practical experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and a commitment to safety.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic.
