About the Heavy Duty Mechanic Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join their team in Dammam. This full-time position requires a candidate with 1-2 years of experience in heavy-duty vehicle repair and maintenance.

Core Responsibilities

• Assisting with brake system repairs and overhauling.
• Participating in mechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Performing tire repairs and replacements.
• Assisting with welding tasks as needed.
• Carrying out mechanical repairs on trucks and flatbed vehicles.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the work area.
• Ensuring all tools are properly maintained and stored after use.
• Undertaking other related duties as assigned by management.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) Standards

Adherence to organizational HS&E policies and safety instructions is mandatory. This includes:

• Reporting any damaged Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) or unsafe machinery/equipment to the appropriate staff.
• Maintaining provided PPE in good, workable condition.
• Prohibiting horseplay and the misuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities.
• Reporting all accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to the responsible personnel.
• Attending all scheduled safety training sessions.
• Exercising the right to refuse any unsafe work.

Experience and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic.
• Proven ability to perform the duties outlined in the responsibilities section.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam. The role involves hands-on work in a workshop environment, requiring adherence to strict safety protocols.
