About the Role at PepsiCo

PepsiCo is seeking a dedicated individual to join its sales team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with 0-1 years of experience looking to build a career in sales within a globally recognized company. PepsiCo products are enjoyed by consumers over one billion times daily across more than 200 countries and territories, generating significant net revenue driven by a diverse portfolio including LAY'S, DORITOS, CHEETOS, GATORADE, PEPSI, and QUAKER.

Role Purpose and Objectives

The primary purpose of this role is to maximize sales volume, minimize product stales, achieve distribution targets, and ensure the implementation of agreed merchandising standards. The position also involves collecting accounts receivable and maintaining high levels of customer service. Adherence to operating procedures is crucial for maintaining consistent standards across Saudi Arabia. The role requires providing supervisors with market information to identify sales opportunities and attending training to enhance professionalism and customer service skills. Daily debriefings with the supervisor are a key component of this role.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sell the full range of products to an assigned list of customers, with sales measured against agreed targets.
  • Ensure levels of stales remain below the target provided by the supervisor.
  • Provide approved service levels to customers, adhering to call frequencies and daily route plans to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct daily and weekly vehicle checks as per operating procedures, maintaining the sales vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition, and reporting any defects promptly.
  • Supply ready-to-ship customer orders on time, including full delivery arrangements.
  • Maintain individual customer stock levels to agreed requirements to minimize out-of-stock situations.
  • Implement agreed in-store merchandising standards as communicated by the supervisor, coordinating with merchandisers when support is provided.
  • Advise the supervisor of relevant competitor activity in the service area.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of all cheques, cash, and credit sales.
  • Maintain a neat and presentable personal appearance.
  • Maintain a high standard of driving and adhere to all driving regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. The position requires 1 to 3 years of experience in Sales and Account Building. Key competencies include strong communication and negotiation skills, conflict management abilities, sales planning expertise, and basic accounting skills.

Work Environment and Performance

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Province. Performance will be measured against specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
