Junior Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

Al-Qahtani Pipe Coating Industries (AQPCI) is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Dammam. This full-time role involves supporting the design, development, and improvement of mechanical systems and components. The successful candidate will assist in product development, perform engineering analyses, and collaborate with various teams to ensure product quality, reliability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage moderate project Bill of Materials (BOMs) and provide support to production teams.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, production, and quality departments.
• Perform full product lifecycle activities, including design, development, prototyping, testing, and implementation.
• Design mechanical systems and components to meet operational requirements.
• Integrate ductwork into AutoCAD or Revit models.
• Conduct experiments, analyze test data, and validate theoretical designs.
• Solve technical challenges by identifying and producing effective solutions.
• Modify designs to improve performance, reliability, and safety.
• Estimate project costs and scope.
• Prepare technical reports, product documentation, and test evaluations.
• Continuously enhance technical skills and stay updated with engineering innovations.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 3-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering. The role requires a foundational understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to apply them in practical scenarios.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in managing Bill of Materials (BOMs).
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit for integrating ductwork.
• Ability to conduct engineering analyses and interpret test data.
• Strong problem-solving skills for technical challenges.
• Competence in preparing technical reports and documentation.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, where the Junior Mechanical Engineer will work collaboratively with various departments within Al-Qahtani Pipe Coating Industries (AQPCI).
