About the Role

Arla Foods is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee warehouse and operations management in Dammam. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience in logistics or warehousing, focusing on efficient inventory control, cost management, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch, ensuring accurate and timely order processing.
• Monitor daily operations, proactively resolve issues, and escalate critical matters.
• Improve direct delivery performance from distribution centers to customers.
• Ensure accurate inventory management, conduct cycle counts, and maintain audit readiness.
• Minimize stock losses, damages, and expiry, and maintain proper documentation for all stock movements.
• Monitor warehouse utilization, optimize space, and control storage costs.
• Improve productivity through process optimization and effective resource utilization.
• Ensure strict adherence to Arla safety standards and local regulations, conducting safety checks and promoting a strong safety culture.
• Ensure all operations comply with quality and food safety requirements, maintaining hygiene standards and effectively handling damaged goods and claims.
• Ensure the accuracy of master data and system transactions (SAP/SFA) and coordinate with IT for system issue resolution.
• Coordinate with Supply Planning, Sales & Fleet, and Transport & Replenishment teams to ensure a smooth flow of goods and maintain high customer service levels.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse teams, ensuring proper manpower planning and productivity tracking.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rate, delivery accuracy, warehouse productivity, and In Market Logistics Cost, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Identify process gaps, implement improvement initiatives, and support digital tools and automation for efficiency.
• Drive sustainability initiatives, including energy and waste reduction, and embrace Arla’s sustainability practices.
• Act as an Arla Ambassador, providing a positive customer experience and building trust.
• Embrace a digital transformation mindset and utilize data for decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Skilled education within logistics, warehousing, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in handling goods, preferably food products.
• Organizational skills and a basic understanding of logistic units.
• Ability to coordinate with relevant functions for timely maintenance of material handling equipment.
• High-level English and IT skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Power BI & AI.
• Experience with SAP Applications (EWM, ERP, BW, RFUI) and SFA.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Region. The role involves leading and developing warehouse teams, requiring strong collaboration with various internal departments to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
