About the Operations Executive Role

Amazon Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) operations is seeking an Operations Executive to join a newly formed organization focused on designing and launching new business models across AMET. This role is based in Dammam, Eastern Region, and is a full-time position. The Operations Executive will play a key part in redefining fast delivery services and managing third-party store operations.

Role Context and Mission

The mission of Amazon is to be the Earth's most customer-centric company, where customers can find, discover, and buy anything online. This role contributes to that mission by helping to build and operate new services that deliver for our customers. The Operations Executive will ensure Amazon policies, including attendance tracking, are implemented fairly and consistently, focusing on associate performance in productivity, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, the Operations Executive will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) Under the Roof (UTR) operations. Key duties include:

• Managing end-to-end UTR operations for assigned sites, including supervising store operations.
• Meeting customer-facing metrics while upholding operational and quality targets, and maintaining team morale and safety.
• Driving performance management for team members.
• Preparing and implementing training and development plans for pickers.
• Collaborating with merchant stakeholders to continuously improve operational processes and achieve sustained performance improvements.
• Conducting daily 4M / 5S and Safety GEMBA audits for the stores.
• Providing support and acting as a stand-in for the Area Manager when required.

Required Qualifications

Candidates for this role must meet the following requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in an operational role.
• Fluency in speaking, writing, and reading English.
• Fluency in speaking, writing, and reading Arabic.

Preferred Experience

Additional experience that would be beneficial includes:

• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or customer-facing environment.
