About the Role: Operations Leader

GE Vernova is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to join our team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time position is critical for ensuring the reliability and consistency of repair production lines while fostering a safe and effective learning environment within the cell operations.

Role Overview and Impact

The Operations Leader will be responsible for the daily execution of cell operations, driving planning and fulfillment activities. This role reports directly to the Cell Leader and includes direct supervisory responsibilities for a team of hourly operators on their assigned shifts, impacting the overall productivity and safety of the production lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 35-45 blue-collar employees.
• Implement and sustain Fulfillment-5 metrics across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, and People.
• Cultivate a ‘zero exception’ safety culture and ensure operational compliance with regulatory and non-regulatory actions through daily engagement with shop floor operators.
• Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
• Lead tactical operations rhythms and work collaboratively with Safety, Engineering, Quality, and HR to promptly resolve shop floor issues.
• Drive On-Time-Delivery for the Cell by meeting repair job plans.
• Oversee the job cost review process throughout the lifecycle of each repair.
• Manage utilization, capacity planning, and manpower planning for the cell.
• Champion productivity initiatives and cost reduction projects within the cell.
• Lead product lines within the Cell and drive 5S and lean excellence initiatives.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in operations leadership, preferably within a manufacturing or repair production environment.

Work Environment and Conditions

This full-time role involves direct supervision of a significant team of hourly operators in a dynamic production setting. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided for this position.
