Role Overview

PepsiCo is seeking a Preseller to join the sales team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role is integral to maximizing sales volume, achieving distribution targets, and maintaining high levels of customer service within the Saudi Arabian market. The Preseller will operate within established procedures to ensure consistent standards and will be responsible for providing market information to support sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Sell the full range of products to an agreed list of customers, aiming to meet or exceed sales targets and keep stale levels below the set target.
• Provide customer service as approved by the supervisor, adhering to call frequencies and daily route plans to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Conduct daily and weekly vehicle checks as per operating procedures, ensuring the sales vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and reporting any defects promptly.
• Supply ready-to-ship customer orders on time, including full details and delivery arrangements.
• Maintain individual customer stock levels to agreed requirements to minimize out-of-stock situations.
• Implement agreed in-store merchandising communicated by the supervisor, coordinating with company merchandisers where applicable.
• Advise the supervisor of any relevant competitor activity within the assigned area.
• Perform daily reconciliation of all cheques, cash, and credit sales.
• Maintain a neat and presentable appearance at all times.
• Adhere to high driving standards and obey all driving regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to follow operating procedures to ensure continuity of standards.
• Strong commitment to achieving sales volume and distribution targets.
• Capability to collect accounts receivable and maintain high levels of customer service.
• Willingness to attend training courses designed to improve professionalism and customer service.
• Ability to complete daily debriefings with the supervisor.

Performance Measurement

Performance in this role will be measured against specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Consistent failure to deliver the required results may lead to disciplinary action.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the sales team, based in Dammam, Eastern Region. The role involves dynamic daily activities and requires a collaborative spirit to embrace new ideas within a passionate team culture.
