About the Role

Napco National is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are looking to develop their career in procurement and supply chain operations within a dynamic environment.

Core Purchasing Responsibilities

The Purchasing Coordinator will manage a range of essential procurement activities, ensuring efficient material flow and effective supplier management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare the Material Requirement Plan (MRP) for the upcoming month.
  • Generate and dispatch Purchase Orders to suppliers.
  • Monitor and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of documents and orders.
  • Coordinate with the Central Logistics Department (CLD) for proper shipment clearance.
  • Obtain freight quotations from CLD for all FOB shipments.
  • Liaise with the Import/Export department to issue necessary shipment certificates such as Saber, FASAH, and Value Chains.
  • Submit invoices to the accounting department promptly.
  • Raise claims to concerned suppliers for any missing or non-conforming materials, providing all required supporting documents.
  • Follow up with the accounting department regarding the settlement of suppliers’ dues.
  • Prepare monthly reports and ad-hoc reports as needed.

Raw Materials Management

This role also involves specific responsibilities related to the management of raw materials, ensuring their availability and compliance:

  • Ensure the availability of required materials upon receiving the Raw Material Shortage List from the Planning department.
  • Track and update Customs Duty Exemption for raw materials to avoid duty payments.
  • Prepare Transfer Requests (TR) for inter-company material transfers.

Finished Goods Coordination

The coordinator will contribute to the effective management of finished goods, including coordination and quality assurance:

  • Coordinate with the Import/Export department and Product Managers for the necessary renewal of Product Certificates of Conformity.
  • Follow up with Warehouse (WH) teams in each country to ensure orders are received before detention and gather feedback on any quality issues.
