Quality Manager (Painting & Coating)

About the Role

APS Arabian Contracting Company is seeking an experienced Quality Manager – Painting & Coating to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This is a contract position focused on ensuring high standards in industrial painting and coating activities.

Role Overview

The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and quality control aspects related to painting, blasting, and coating operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and leadership skills to manage quality processes and documentation effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and implement Painting & Coating QA/QC activities.
• Ensure adherence to surface preparation, blasting, coating application, and inspection requirements.
• Oversee the management of QC inspectors, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), procedures, inspection reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and overall quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with international coating standards and specifications.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong experience in industrial painting, blasting, and coating activities.
• Solid knowledge of QA/QC requirements, inspection procedures, and client specifications.
• Excellent knowledge of surface preparation, blasting, coating application, and inspection requirements.
• Experience with Saudi Aramco projects and specifications is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of international coating standards and specifications.
• Mandatory: Valid Coating Inspection Certification from AMPP/NACE, BGAS, or SSPC.
