About the Role

Fugro is seeking an experienced Quality Specialist to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time position focuses on leading and supporting the organization in achieving and maintaining SASO Quality Mark (QM) approval, with a strong emphasis on ISO/IEC 17065 compliance. The role is crucial for ensuring alignment across all testing and inspection functions, including laboratories and field services, while upholding compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and other relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete process for SASO Quality Mark certification, from application and audits to ongoing compliance.
• Implement and maintain compliance with ISO/IEC 17065 requirements for product certification bodies.
• Serve as the primary liaison with SASO and relevant accreditation bodies.
• Manage external audits and the overall certification process.
• Develop and continuously improve the integrated Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring alignment with ISO/IEC 17065 and ISO/IEC 17025.
• Conduct internal audits and effectively manage Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes.
• Ensure all laboratories adhere to ISO/IEC 17025 standards, overseeing calibration, validation, and quality control procedures.
• Provide quality support across various technical departments including NDT, TPI, CMT, Materials Engineering, Minerals Lab, Chemical Lab, Calibration Lab, Road Analysis, and Commodities Inspection.
• Ensure consistency in procedures and reporting standards across all supported functions.
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring the organization is audit-ready at all times.
• Manage non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
• Act as the central point of contact for SASO, accreditation bodies, and clients regarding quality matters.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
• Strong, demonstrable experience with ISO/IEC 17065 is essential.
• Proven experience with the SASO Quality Mark certification process.
• Sound knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
