About the Sales Associate Role
Apparel Group is seeking a dedicated Sales Associate to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are committed to representing the brand, maximizing sales, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role involves maintaining store standards, supporting visual merchandising efforts, and contributing to the overall retail experience while adhering to operational duties as assigned by store management.
Customer Engagement and Sales Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide assistance in selecting products that align with their needs.
- Engage proactively with customers to convert window shoppers into buyers.
- Promote the company's loyalty program to foster repeat sales and customer retention.
- Deliver high-quality customer service by consistently applying the company’s GUEST model (Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank).
- Maintain knowledge of various brands within the group to offer effective suggestions and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, materials, and care instructions.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance sales opportunities.
Merchandising and Store Operations
- Ensure products are displayed attractively and in accordance with established store layout standards.
- Adhere to visual merchandising (VM) guidelines and stock management protocols, particularly for clearance items.
- Record and maintain accurate inventory records for all incoming and outgoing stock.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for all billing and transaction processes.
- Balance the cash till accurately at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Process payments correctly using cash, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
- Issue receipts, process refunds, and provide correct change to customers.
- Maintain vigilance regarding store security and ensure adherence to all loss prevention policies.
- Replenish and re-merchandise stock on the sales floor to ensure continuous product availability.
Professional Conduct and Product Knowledge
- Maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance at all times.
- Demonstrate flexibility and availability to work extended hours during peak sales periods.
- Stay current on product knowledge to minimize stock loss and provide accurate recommendations to customers.
- Maintain strong knowledge of product inventory and current promotions to communicate effectively with customers.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- 0-1 years of experience; previous experience in a sales role is preferred.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Dammam, Eastern Region, requiring consistent presence to support daily store operations and customer engagement.
