Job Description

About the Role

Engineering Zone is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Development Manager (SDM) to lead business development efforts across Saudi Arabia. This full-time role, based in Ad Dammām, Eastern Province, involves building and managing a Sales Development Team, generating qualified sales opportunities, and driving business growth. The successful candidate will focus on key sectors including Oil & Gas, Industrial, Energy, and Government.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Sales Development Team (SDRs).
  • Develop and execute lead generation and business development strategies.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified business opportunities.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers within target organizations.
  • Oversee outbound prospecting activities, including calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.
  • Establish and monitor sales development KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and mentor SDR team members.
  • Ensure accurate CRM management and reporting.
  • Coordinate closely with Sales, Operations, and Technical Teams.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives and market expansion plans.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports for senior management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess 5-10 years of proven experience in B2B business development, lead generation, and team leadership. The role requires strong leadership capabilities and a track record of generating business opportunities through outbound prospecting and strategic account targeting.
