About the Opportunity

The Management Recruitment Group (MRG) is partnering with a leading real estate developer to recruit a Senior Architectural Engineer. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, and will be a key part of the client's Design & Project Management team.

Role Overview and Context

The Senior Architectural Engineer will lead architectural design coordination, technical reviews, and site supervision activities for large-scale development projects. This role ensures the successful integration of architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering high-quality, coordinated, and technically compliant designs, supporting project execution from initial design development through to construction completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the review and coordination of architectural designs with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
• Manage architectural design development using Revit and ensure BIM coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
• Review and validate curtain wall, façade, and shop drawings to ensure constructability and technical compliance.
• Oversee finishing works and material selection, ensuring alignment with project specifications, design intent, and quality standards.
• Provide technical support and design clarification to site supervision teams throughout the construction phase.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Review architectural technical submissions and provide recommendations on design coordination, material approvals, and façade solutions.
• Ensure all architectural deliverables are completed in accordance with project schedules, company standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural design, coordination, and site supervision.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in façade systems, curtain wall design, and finishing works.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong expertise in architectural detailing, material selection, and construction methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination.
• Strong understanding of architectural specifications, technical coordination, and multidisciplinary design management.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining high standards of design quality and technical compliance.

Preferred Background

Applications are welcomed from professionals currently working with leading real estate developers, architectural consultancies, engineering firms, or multidisciplinary design practices. Candidates should have experience delivering large-scale mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, residential, or infrastructure developments across Saudi Arabia and the GCC. Experience with façade systems, curtain wall design, BIM coordination, and complex architectural projects will be highly regarded.
