About the Role

Alfanar is seeking an experienced ENGINEER ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience to contribute to the company's architectural design projects.

Core Responsibilities

The primary focus of this role is the creation of detailed architectural designs and schematics for various projects. This involves analyzing project requirements, developing and refining architectural systems, and ensuring all designs adhere to industry standards. The engineer will collaborate with other professionals and stakeholders to deliver efficient and aesthetically pleasing architectural solutions that meet design specifications and project objectives, while optimizing for performance and cost.

Design and Development Duties

• Create detailed architectural designs, schematics, and layouts for projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct spatial analysis, design simulations, and performance evaluations to confirm designs are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with relevant codes and regulations.

Documentation and Compliance Requirements

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring accuracy and currency.
• Ensure all designs comply with national and local building codes, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.

Collaboration and Problem-Solving

• Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to integrate architectural systems with other building systems and project requirements.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical advice, and present design concepts and solutions.
• Review and approve design modifications and changes, ensuring they align with project goals and specifications.
• Identify and resolve design issues, perform design testing, and provide solutions to technical problems encountered during implementation.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes and solutions.

This role requires the ability to acquire updated soft and technical skills relevant to the job, alongside developing a clear vision and plan for career progression. The engineer will perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules, utilizing resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time parameters. Periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks will be required.
