About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Technician, Electrical to join our team in Dammam. This full-time position requires a professional with 5 to 15 years of experience in electrical maintenance and operations.

Core Responsibilities

The Senior Technician, Electrical will perform daily shift activities as directed by the shift in charge and supervisor. This includes executing both preventive and breakdown maintenance tasks, as well as monitoring the performance of running electrical equipment. A key aspect of this role involves responding to complaints and actively engaging in problem-solving to ensure operational continuity.

Key Duties and Tasks

• Conducting preventive maintenance and condition monitoring of electrical systems.
• Reporting any identified abnormalities in motors or other electrical equipment to the shift in charge.
• Maintaining HVAC systems within plants and offices.
• Maintaining fire alarm and firefighting systems.
• Isolating and de-isolating electrical equipment according to operational requirements.
• Addressing and resolving lighting issues in plants and offices.
• Performing overhauls and replacements of induction motor bearings.
• Operating and maintaining the 2 MVA Emergency Generator.
• Managing power changeovers to emergency systems and normalizing power supply following main power plant failures.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E)

Adherence to organizational HS&E policies is mandatory. This includes maintaining a neat and tidy workplace, following all job-related safety instructions, and ensuring provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is kept in good, workable condition. Employees are expected to report any damaged PPE, unsafe machines, or equipment to the appropriate staff. Any accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions must be reported promptly. Participation in planned safety trainings is required, and all personnel have the right to refuse unsafe work.

Professional Conduct and Procedures

Maintaining discipline and punctuality are essential aspects of this role. The Senior Technician, Electrical must work safely at all times and be well-conversant with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures for the safe isolation of equipment. This role emphasizes a commitment to safe work practices and adherence to established operational protocols.
