We are currently seeking a dedicated Electrical Technician to join our team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This is a full-time position focused on ensuring the operational integrity of electrical systems within our facilities.

Role Overview

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for executing essential maintenance activities on electrical systems, equipment, and facilities. This role emphasizes compliance with established preventive and predictive maintenance plans, alongside the efficient and effective resolution of breakdown maintenance issues. The successful candidate will apply best and safest maintenance practices to ensure reliability and availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily electrical maintenance activities across all electrical systems, plant, equipment, and facilities within the designated area.
• Ensure strict compliance with SATORP's Safety and Quality procedures during all maintenance operations.
• Oversee the proper execution of work and routinely check activities related to maintenance.
• Perform timely and high-quality repairing and troubleshooting on electrical assets to enhance system availability and reliability.
• Receive and follow work directions from the Electrical Supervisor regarding maintenance orders and requests.
• Monitor electrical maintenance work progress and submit regular reports to the Electrical Supervisor, maintaining records against planned programs and preparing completion reports as required.
• Enforce SATORP’s policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring all safety measures and precautions are strictly observed during maintenance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on HV and LV switchgear and control gears, including testing of electronic protection relays, power circuit breakers, bus bars, contactors, motor starters, and ATS.
• Perform readings of partial discharge capacitors in HV motors and on-line analysis of current signatures of motors.
• Execute testing on various types of transformers.
• Provide support for switchgear operations in electrical substations when requested.
• Undertake other related duties as assigned by the Electrical Leader.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant electrical technician role.
• Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to the individual’s qualifications and competency to perform the required works.

This role operates within an industrial environment where adherence to stringent safety and quality protocols is paramount. The Electrical Technician will work closely with supervisors and team members to maintain high operational standards and ensure all tasks are completed in alignment with company and client policies.
