About the Senior Merchandiser Role

PepsiCo is seeking a Senior Merchandiser to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position focuses on optimizing product presence and visibility within retail outlets to maximize on-shelf availability and sales performance.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary objective of this role is to ensure PepsiCo products are optimally displayed across all assigned outlets, adhering strictly to planograms for both on-shelf and off-shelf placements. The Senior Merchandiser plays a crucial part in maintaining brand presence and driving sales by ensuring product availability and proper presentation. This role also involves gathering and reporting market intelligence to support sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit designated outlets according to a daily journey plan provided by a supervisor.
  • Merchandise products within assigned outlets across various access points, including shelves, stands, and floor displays.
  • Place Point of Sale (POS) materials adjacent to product displays where applicable.
  • Ensure all product placements comply with approved planograms.
  • Implement the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method for product rotation and remove any sub-standard products.
  • Maintain a consistently clean and fresh stock of products on shelves.
  • Monitor and report on competitive activities within the market.
  • Report any deviations from agreed terms with assigned customers or outlets.
  • Submit daily reports on prior day's activities to the supervisor.
  • Participate in in-store sampling or redemption campaigns as required.
  • Maintain professional personal appearance and behavior in accordance with company conduct standards.

Performance Measures

Performance in this role will be evaluated based on:

  • Execution Standard.
  • Last Time Available (LTA) enforcement.
  • Journey plan adherence.
