About the Role

PepsiCo is seeking a Sr. Merchandiser to join its team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, specifically covering the cities of Jeddah and Makkah. This is a full-time position focused on enhancing the on-shelf presence of PepsiCo products within designated retail outlets.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary objective of this role is to maximize the visibility and availability of PepsiCo products on shelves and displays across all assigned outlets. The Sr. Merchandiser will ensure product placement adheres to planograms and company standards, contributing directly to sales performance. The role also involves gathering market intelligence to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily journey plans to visit designated Out-of-Home (OT) outlets.
• Merchandise products within OT stores across various access points, including shelves, stands, and floor displays.
• Place Point of Sale (POS) materials adjacent to product displays where applicable.
• Ensure all access points are merchandised according to approved planograms.
• Implement the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method for product rotation and remove substandard products.
• Maintain a consistently clean and fresh stock of products on shelves.
• Monitor and report on competitive activities within the assigned outlets.
• Report any deviations from agreed terms with assigned OT customers or outlets.
• Provide daily reports to the supervisor detailing the previous day's activities.
• Participate in in-store sampling or redemption campaigns as required.
• Conduct in-store sampling sessions and/or promotions when necessary.
• Adhere to the Frito-Lay code of conduct regarding personal appearance and professional behavior.
• Report any non-compliance with agreed arrangements to the pre-seller immediately.
• Supply the pre-seller with the latest market information to leverage selling opportunities.

Performance in this role will be evaluated based on:

• Execution Standard.
• LTA (Long-Term Agreement) Enforcement.
• Journey Plan Adherence.
