About the Store Manager Role

Apparel Group is seeking a Store Manager for a full-time position in Dammam, Eastern region. This role is central to overseeing and managing the daily operations of the store, ensuring a seamless and positive shopping experience for customers. The Store Manager is responsible for maintaining store standards, achieving financial targets, and relaying crucial feedback about customers and products to relevant stakeholders. The position requires a strong combination of leadership, organizational capabilities, and a deep understanding of the fashion retail market.

Core Responsibilities

The Store Manager will lead the store team in achieving key performance indicators and operational excellence. This includes comprehensive management of financial performance, adherence to company processes, fostering strong customer relationships, and driving continuous learning and development within the team.

Operational and Financial Management

  • Drive the store team to achieve established store targets and KPIs.
  • Ensure store shrinkage remains below * of the cost of sale.
  • Conduct regular financial and stock audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Regularly update, track, and communicate the store dashboard to management.
  • Maintain Visual Merchandising (VM) standards throughout the store.
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Set and achieve sales targets, monitor KPIs, and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure full compliance.
  • Communicate regularly with higher management, providing updates on store performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement action plans based on performance metrics to drive results.
  • Maintain back store operations and ensure efficient merchandise replenishment.
  • Implement and enforce security measures to prevent theft and ensure the safety of customers and employees.
  • Monitor and manage store expenses, budgets, and financial goals.

Team Leadership and Customer Experience

  • Drive the store team to achieve Club Apparel, NPS, and DSES goals.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with mall management.
  • Effectively communicate with the office back-end team regarding store-related activities.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, striving to exceed customer expectations.
  • Manage employee performance and conduct within the store team.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, performance expectations, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Constantly upgrade the skills of self and team, and contribute to creating a pipeline of future store managers.
  • Identify learning gaps within the team and develop processes to address them.
  • Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing product knowledge sessions for the team.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in a customer-centric role.
  • Demonstrated strong management experience and leadership skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Successful track record in enhancing customer engagement.
  • Achieved and exceeded sales KPI targets for retail stores.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field is preferred.

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern region, operating within the dynamic retail environment of Apparel Group. The role demands a proactive and hands-on approach to store management and team leadership, contributing directly to the store's success and customer satisfaction.
