Technician Instrumentation

About the Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to join their team in Dammam. This full-time role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 year of experience, focusing on the maintenance and calibration of field instruments to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify the availability of all necessary test equipment and tools for job execution.
• Execute planned and routine tasks as instructed by the Foreman or Supervisor.
• Perform field instrument calibration and preventive maintenance (PM) jobs, providing calibration data to the Foreman or Supervisor.
• Report any abnormalities observed during PM or calibration activities to the Foreman or Supervisor.
• Ensure proper shift handover, confirming all test equipment is functional, work permits are filed, job statuses are communicated to the next shift reliever, and common tools are available.
• Adhere to standard practices and report any deviations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area upon job completion.
• Inform relevant authorities of any abnormalities during the working shift.
• Coordinate closely with the Process and other departments.

Safety and Compliance

• Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Understand and follow organizational Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) policies.
• Adhere to safety instructions specific to assigned tasks.
• Report damaged Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), unsafe machinery, or equipment to the appropriate staff.
• Keep provided PPE in good and workable condition.
• Avoid horseplay and misuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities.
• Report any accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to the responsible personnel.
• Attend all planned safety training sessions.
• Exercise the right to refuse any unsafe work.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to perform field instrument calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and HS&E policies.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, requiring close coordination with process and other departments to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols.
