The Role of Tig Welder

Mitsubishi Power Saudi Arabia is seeking a qualified Tig Welder to join its team in Dammam. This full-time, mid-career position involves performing specialized welding tasks to support various projects within the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality Tig welding on various metal components, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards while utilizing advanced welding equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine appropriate welding techniques and materials, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in fabrication.
• Conduct thorough inspections of completed welds to identify any defects or inconsistencies, utilizing precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols to minimize hazards and promote a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to discuss project timelines and welding requirements, ensuring alignment and timely completion of tasks.
• Assist in training junior welders, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team performance and foster continuous improvement.
• Monitor welding equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal functionality, reporting any issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and innovations in welding techniques, helping to drive operational efficiency.
• Document and maintain accurate records of welding activities, including materials used and hours worked, to support project tracking and reporting.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Tig Welder.
• Must be a Saudi national.
• Possess a relevant certification or diploma in welding.
