About the Role

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a Warehouse Operation Specialist to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time position is an opportunity to contribute to a leading global logistics provider operating in over 220 countries.

Role Overview

The Warehouse Operation Specialist will be responsible for supporting the efficient administration and execution of warehouse operations. This includes managing the flow of materials, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining inventory integrity within the distribution facilities. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the administration of warehouse and manual handling plans and processes.
• Receive, sort, and process incoming and outgoing materials, cargo, and products according to established procedures.
• Verify and endorse the accurate receipt and issue of cargo against relevant documentation.
• Load and unload materials onto or off pallets, trays, racks, and shelves, ensuring correct storage.
• Load materials and cargo into vehicles, securing them with appropriate bracing and padding.
• Undertake cargo movement, complying with regulations and internal procedures, and update shipment status.
• Assist in stock counts and reconcile discrepancies, monitoring order processing times.
• Update inventory records, maintain stock levels, and perform stock audits for integrity and security.
• Update computerized systems with relevant information and generate shipping documents.
• Ensure the supply of raw materials to production areas and record the entry of finished products.
• Guide and perform physical cargo handling, receiving, order processing, and picking operations, ensuring accurate packing.
• Identify and resolve recurring issues, suggesting modifications to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage and execute warehouse activities related to movement, tools, and packaging.
• Pack items for shipment according to specifications.
• Receive or inspect goods, scanning and verifying items against shipment records.
• Manage transshipment and sorting activities.
• Operate powered forklift trucks to move, stack, load, or unload materials.
• Consolidate shipments and perform unit load device operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
