About the Role

Dhahran Techno Valley is seeking an Accountant to join its team in Dhahran, Eastern region. This is a full-time position responsible for maintaining the company's financial organization. The role involves applying accepted accounting principles to analyze financial information, prepare accurate reports, and ensure appropriate accounting controls are in place.

Role Purpose

The Accountant is crucial for ensuring the financial integrity and transparency of the company. This position requires a talent for mathematics, strong organizational skills, and leadership qualities to manage financial data effectively and support decision-making through timely and accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions, as well as resolving discrepancies.
• Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Protect the company’s financial value by maintaining information confidentiality.
• Secure financial information and ensure regular backups are performed.
• Prepare monthly management reports, accompanying schedules, worksheets, and narrative reports.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Coordinate with customers for invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting purposes.
• Coordinate with the Tax team to provide all required information.
• Process vendor payments, balance confirmations, and reconciliations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience required: 0-1 years.
• Demonstrated talent in mathematics and strong organizational skills.
• Possession of leadership qualities.
• Proven success as an accountant.
