The Role: Assistant / Associate / Full Professor - Physics

The Physics Department at KFUPM is seeking qualified candidates for full-time faculty appointments at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels. This role involves contributing to the department's academic and research mission within a distinguished university environment, fostering both undergraduate and graduate education.

Key Responsibilities

Faculty members in this position will be expected to:

• Establish and lead an independent research program.
• Deliver effective teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Significant funding is available to support faculty in establishing their research programs.

Required Areas of Specialization

The department is particularly interested in candidates with expertise in the following fields:

• Experimental atomic and molecular physics
• Optical and laser physics
• Nuclear and theoretical physics

Candidate Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate the following qualifications:

• A ** from a reputable institution, with a focus on recent graduates or post-doctoral researchers.
• A strong record of published research.
• Relevant teaching experience at the university level.
• Teaching and/or industrial experience in the respective areas of specialization.
