The Opportunity: Professor in Physics

KFUPM invites applications for a full-time academic position as an Assistant / Associate / Full Professor in Physics. This role is central to the department's objectives, focusing on both advanced research and effective teaching to contribute to the academic excellence of the university.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will undertake a range of academic and professional duties, including:

• Delivering high-quality teaching to students within the Physics curriculum.
• Conducting impactful research and contributing to scholarly publications in the field of Physics.
• Providing academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Undertaking administrative duties as assigned by the department or university.
• Performing any other academic duties relevant to the department's operational needs.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for this faculty position:

• An earned ** degree from a reputable university in the relevant field of Physics.
• Completion of full-time bachelor’s and master’s degrees with very good academic grades.
• Possession of certificate equivalency if the degree was obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Work Commitment and Environment

The successful candidate will be expected to be available for professional duties for approximately 35-40 hours per week. This full-time commitment ensures active participation in all academic and administrative functions within the Department of Physics at KFUPM in Dhahran.
