About the Opportunity

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking an Associate Cybersecurity Analyst to join its team. This full-time position is based in Dhahran, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, with the opportunity to contribute to projects within Saudi Aramco - SMP.

Role Summary

The Associate Cybersecurity Analyst will play a role in security operations, focusing on critical areas such as log analysis and SIEM technologies. This position is designed for cybersecurity professionals who possess practical experience in these domains and are prepared to contribute to a secure operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in daily security operations, including monitoring and responding to security events.
• Conduct detailed log analysis to identify potential security threats, anomalies, and vulnerabilities.
• Utilize and manage SIEM technologies for effective security information and event management.
• Support incident response activities by analyzing security data and assisting in remediation efforts.
• Apply knowledge of Windows/Linux administration and networking principles to cybersecurity tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in security operations, log analysis, and SIEM technologies.

Essential Skills and Certifications

• Strong knowledge of Splunk, Cribl, SIEM platforms, and log analysis methodologies.
• Good understanding of Windows/Linux administration, networking fundamentals, databases, and general cybersecurity operations.
• Basic scripting skills using Python or PowerShell.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Required certifications: Splunk Power User and Splunk Administration.
