Role Overview

SRG (Saeed Raddad Group) is seeking a Contracts Advisor to join their team in Dhahran. This full-time position supports an SMP Opportunity with Saudi Aramco and involves leading a Contracts Administration Group while serving as the Contract Proponent representative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a Contracts Administration Group, providing work direction to 4 to 8 employees.
  • Act as the Contract Proponent representative in the development and administration of contracts.
  • Initiate guidelines, coordinate activities, and provide technical expertise to ensure proper and timely contract development, maintenance, and administration.
  • Maintain conformity to corporate contracting policies and procedures and meet proponent technical/operational requirements cost-effectively.
  • Receive general direction from the Division Head or Supervisor of a Contracts Administration Unit.
  • Recommend approvals based on technical requirements and contract administration experience.
  • Engage daily with line and staff supervisory personnel, the Contracting Department, Functional Review organizations (financial and legal), or Government Affairs concerning contract requirements, plans, and implementation.
  • Provide frequent status reports and update service requirements.
  • Engage weekly or more frequently with senior management of large international or multinational corporations to negotiate contract terms, settle claims, determine technical qualification of bidders, develop scopes of service, and provisions for payment, or other contract interpretation and clarification.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (including MIS).
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in the petroleum or related industry, with experience in an operational area.
  • At least 3 years of progressively responsible work or contact with auditing, accounting, and contracting techniques and procedures is desirable.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • In-depth understanding of contract lifecycle management, from initiation and scope definition to execution and close-out.
  • Familiarity with different contract types, including lump-sum, unit-price, and time-and-materials agreements.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance frameworks and internal procurement procedures.
  • Ability to prepare, review, and coordinate contract documentation through internal approval and execution workflows.
  • Experience in contract administration, including performance monitoring, compliance tracking, and change control management.
  • Proficiency in generating detailed reports, charts, summaries, and presentations to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.

Preferred Certifications and Training

  • Certified in Contract Management (*, CCCM, CPCM).
  • Professional certification in Procurement or Project Management (*, PMP).
  • Completion of legal or business training programs related to contract law, commercial negotiations, or risk assessment.

Work Schedule and Compensation

This full-time role operates on a 5x8 work schedule. SRG offers a competitive basic salary plus overbase for this position.
