About the Role

SLB is seeking a CPL Field Specialist to join our team in Dhahran, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable service delivery (PSD) to customers. The specialist will identify opportunities for service improvement, implement standard work procedures, and manage operational risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure job deliverables are accurate and completed on schedule.
  • Execute service delivery operations efficiently.
  • Participate in job risk analysis and contribute to continual improvement programs.
  • Develop and maintain customer contacts to promote company products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards through the implementation of CAT, self-assessments, and wellsite inspections.
  • Engage in Service Quality Meetings with customers and drive performance improvements using structured action plans.
  • Contribute to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Quality initiatives.
  • Adhere to all HSE policies and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain all necessary safety training certifications.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Liner Hanger operations.
  • Proven experience with:
    • Cemented Liner Hanger applications (both Hydraulic and mechanical).
    • Non-cemented Liner Hanger applications (both Hydraulic and mechanical).
    • Open Hole and Cemented (MSF) systems.
    • Off-Bottom Cement applications.

Essential Skills and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of hydraulic calculations pertinent to liner hanger operations.
  • Good knowledge of completion design principles and operational planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Experience utilizing completion engineering software.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and engineering calculations.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in field operations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience working in Saudi Arabia and familiarity with Aramco standards is preferred.
