Marco is seeking a highly experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join its team in Dhahran, located in the Eastern region. This full-time position is crucial for overseeing and coordinating all electrical design activities within various construction projects, ensuring adherence to the highest standards.

Role Overview

The Electrical Design Engineer will play a central role in managing the design process for both permanent and temporary electrical works. This involves supervising a team of engineers and draughtsmen, ensuring designs are functional, of high quality, and receive timely approvals. The role requires strong technical oversight and effective coordination with various internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all permanent and temporary electrical works design, including site engineers, draughtsmen, and associated staff, to ensure high-quality and functional design, and timely approval of related shop drawings.
• Oversee permanent and temporary electrical works shop design on technical matters to ensure compliance with relevant design briefs and specifications.
• Liaise with section managers to ensure efficient communication, immediate response to design/construction related queries, and timely transfer of drawings/documents.
• Coordinate permanent electrical and low current works design with all other relevant disciplines.
• Solve design problems relating to permanent works design elements.
• Engage with permanent and temporary works design and supervision consultants as and when required, checking any associated drawings and documents.
• Arrange for the necessary approval of permanent works by the appropriate design consultant or design supervision as applicable.
• Supervise in-house technical office staff and monitor progress relating to the programme of works.
• Cooperate and liaise effectively with construction teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Experience with REVIT is considered an added advantage.
