OT Cybersecurity Principal Consultant

About the Role

Cyberani by Aramco Digital is seeking an OT Cybersecurity Principal Consultant to join the OT cybersecurity team in Dhahran, Eastern region. This full-time role involves providing expert guidance on protecting critical infrastructures from cyber threats and developing cybersecurity strategies. The position requires 5-10 years of experience and includes a focus on mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee cybersecurity projects for operational technology systems across various critical infrastructures.
• Provide expert guidance for protecting OT systems from cyber threats.
• Assess OT Cybersecurity programs, including standards, policies, plans, and procedures, and recommend compliance measures with applicable cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations based on client operational needs.
• Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments using industry-recognized methodologies specific to manufacturing and critical infrastructure environments to identify security risks and threats, and provide remediation recommendations.
• Implement security measures to safeguard OT environments.
• Respond to and manage incidents related to cybersecurity breaches in various OT environments.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in OT cybersecurity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive security measures are in place.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels regarding the importance of cybersecurity in OT systems.
• Ensure client requirements are met and achieve high satisfaction rates.
• Mentor and share knowledge and expertise with the OT team.
• Assess network architectures against industry-recognized standards and ensure compliance.
• Lead and deliver penetration testing for critical infrastructures using various tools and techniques.
• Lead the implementation of Anomaly Detection solutions, including Nozomi and Dragos.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. A Master's in Cybersecurity is a plus.
• 5-10 years of experience in OT cybersecurity.
• Certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly preferred.
• Certified ISA Expert is a plus.
• Previous experience working for an OT Control system vendor and/or Cybersecurity consultation firms is a plus.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• In-depth knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, DCS, and other OT technologies.
• Strong familiarity with NIST, ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 27001/27019, and other cybersecurity frameworks.
• Ability to assess, identify, and mitigate OT-specific cybersecurity risks and threats.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities.
• Strong conceptual and analytical thinking abilities.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Dhahran, Eastern region, and involves working within the OT cybersecurity team at Cyberani by Aramco Digital, focusing on protecting critical infrastructure.
