The Role: Sales and Business Development Manager

OQ Technology is seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team in Dhahran, Eastern region. This full-time role is critical for driving and executing our commercial activities, leading the commercial strategy, and building our sales and marketing organization. The successful candidate will be instrumental in achieving ambitious business targets for 2026 and beyond, focusing on growing our customer base and revenues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and execute the company's Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy and team charter to achieve agreed objectives and promote revenue, profitability, and growth.
  • Ideate, develop, and execute a sales pipeline that delivers above-market growth, while managing priorities, overcoming challenges, and focusing on the MEA market.
  • Meet and exceed revenue and backlog objectives.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of market, trends, customer segmentation, and competitor activity to determine target customers and sales planning per locations, segments, and service lines.
  • Provide market intelligence feedback and support generic business planning and general planning & execution processes.
  • Assess and validate market strategy needs for differentiated global and regional services.
  • Define strategic sales initiatives for the company and its affiliates globally, generate sales leads, and close contracts in accordance with set revenue objectives.
  • Develop sales pipeline forecasting for both existing products and services, along with new ideas for improvement and innovation to influence investment decisions.
  • Identify commercial leads, elaborate client proposals, negotiate offers, execute sales, and manage relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, simplifying complex terms.
  • Drive new business development for MEA partners and other regions that fall under the scope of Regional Sales.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in a relevant sales and business development capacity, demonstrating a proven track record in the Middle East region.

  • Demonstrated success in developing new business across the Middle East region.
  • Possession of a strategic mindset coupled with a hunter mentality and strong prospecting skills.
  • Strong professional sales and presentation abilities.
  • Proven ability to negotiate effectively.
  • A successful and quantifiable "new business" sales track record, with experience in working to and exceeding targets.
  • Ability to execute strategic initiatives and develop and close business autonomously and proactively.
  • Capability to design and implement a business development strategy aligned with overall corporate goals.
  • Aptitude for managing external account projects while overseeing internal processes and aligning key resources.
  • Strong written, communication, and organizational skills.

Reporting Structure and Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Dhahran, Eastern region, and reports directly to the CEO. The role operates within a dynamic environment focused on evolving wireless technologies and expanding commercial traction.
