About the Role
Autobia is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join its team in Dhahran, Eastern region. This full-time position focuses on the Marketplace, Autobia's B2B spare-parts aggregator. The role requires a discovery-driven approach to define customer needs and shape a best-in-class buying experience for B2B buyers.
Role Context and Ownership
As the Senior Product Manager, you will own the strategic direction of the Marketplace. This involves understanding the customer deeply – identifying who they are, their actual needs, and how to deliver an exceptional buying experience. Your focus will be on the "why" behind product development, ensuring that solutions address genuine customer pain points and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth customer research to understand buyers and their purchasing journeys, translating insights into a clear view of needs and challenges.
- Define the core problems to be solved, substantiating product decisions with evidence.
- Establish the product vision for the online experience, outlining what constitutes success for B2B customers and the strategic path to achieve it.
- Utilize discovery methods, competitive analysis, data analysis, customer interviews, and experiments to validate product concepts before development.
- Leverage the entire order journey, including supplier purchase orders, inventory management, and delivery processes, to enhance the customer experience.
- Translate strategic thinking into well-defined problems and a product roadmap actionable by product leads and engineering teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- 4–6 years of experience in product management, at a senior level, within the e-commerce sector.
- Demonstrated ability as a product thinker, prioritizing customer needs and strategic "why" over backlog management.
- Proficiency in research and discovery techniques, including customer interviews, data analysis, and competitive analysis.
- Proven track record in shaping product vision and strategy, beyond just executing a backlog.
- A data-driven and customer-first approach to product development.
- Technical fluency to engage effectively with engineers on scope, feasibility, and trade-offs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate a product direction and gain stakeholder alignment.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
Additional Considerations
While not strictly required, experience in the following areas would be beneficial:
- B2B marketplace operations.
- Designing or reshaping online buying experiences in e-commerce.
- Comfort with manual validation methods prior to automation.
- Familiarity with internal operations or back-office tooling.
