About the Role

Uplift People Consulting is seeking a Strategic Account Manager Saudi Aramco for a global deep-tech company specializing in advanced quantum computing technologies and software solutions. This full-time role is based in Dhahran, Eastern Province, and involves regular work from the Aramco campus. The primary objective is to expand the client's relationship with Saudi Aramco and develop new opportunities across its business units, following the deployment of its quantum computing platform in Dhahran.

Role Context and Focus

This position leads the commercial development of the Saudi Aramco account. The Strategic Account Manager will focus on understanding Aramco’s operational and technology priorities, identifying industrial challenges suitable for advanced computing solutions, and converting these into commercially viable projects. This is a consultative business development role, requiring close collaboration with senior customer stakeholders, technical business development teams, scientists, engineers, and project delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Saudi Aramco account plan, including stakeholder mapping, identifying buying centers, budget owners, and decision processes.
  • Develop relationships across Aramco’s business units, with a particular focus on upstream and technology-focused functions.
  • Identify new industrial use cases and translate them into qualified commercial opportunities.
  • Manage opportunities from initial discovery through proposal development, negotiation, purchase order, and project launch.
  • Coordinate proposals, scopes of work, workshops, demonstrations, and executive briefings.
  • Act as the commercial bridge between Aramco stakeholders and internal technical teams.
  • Support the adoption and increased utilization of the company’s quantum computing platform.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and account information in Salesforce.
  • Represent the company across the Eastern Province’s energy and advanced-technology ecosystem.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience (5-10 years) working with Saudi Aramco or similarly complex Saudi organizations.
  • Strong understanding of Aramco’s stakeholder, procurement, and decision-making environment.
  • Experience developing and selling complex technology or consulting solutions.
  • A track record of managing long sales cycles and converting opportunities into contracts.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both senior business stakeholders and highly technical teams.
  • Strong account planning, pipeline management, forecasting, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to be based in Dhahran and work regularly from the Aramco campus.

Preferred Background

Experience in oil and gas, upstream operations, AI, cloud computing, high-performance computing (HPC), industrial optimization, or advanced analytics is particularly relevant for this role.
