The Role of QA Technician

Almarai is seeking a full-time QA Technician to join its operations in Hail. This role is responsible for coordinating all quality-related aspects within the company's Poultry Operations. The QA Technician will provide support to the Quality team within the plant, working under the guidance of the SQAM/DQAM: Poultry to ensure effective quality management.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all quality-related aspects within the Poultry Operations.
• Assist the plant's Quality team in managing all facets of quality control.
• Conduct quality awareness programs independently.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of quality systems and audits.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Services or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a Quality role within a Meat Processing Plant, with a preference for poultry operations.
• Demonstrated experience at a supervisory level.
• Familiarity with best practice Quality standards, including those outlined by APD and ISO 22000:2005.

Required Skills

• Good working knowledge of various Quality standards.
• Ability to manage and conduct Quality awareness programs autonomously.
• Understanding of quality systems and audit processes.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with a multinational workforce.
