About the Role: Divisional Safety Coordinator

Almarai is seeking a Divisional Safety Coordinator for a full-time position in Ha'il, Saudi Arabia. This role involves advising and assisting functional managers within manufacturing to effectively manage all aspects of health and safety. The coordinator will provide support for risk assessments and accident investigations in accordance with established Group Safety and Risk manager procedures, while also counseling employees on best practices to reduce health and safety risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a coach and mentor, promoting high standards of health and safety and fostering competence among employees.
• Review the adequacy and suitability of risk assessments, recommending improvements in protective measures and work systems.
• Evaluate the quality and suitability of accident reports, suggesting enhancements to investigations, protective measures, and work systems.
• Collect and analyze accident records to identify trends and common causes, thereby prioritizing health and safety efforts.
• Collaborate with the training function to develop health and safety training courses and assist with their delivery as needed.
