The Role: Safety Officer

This full-time position is for a Safety Officer at Taldeen, located in Hail. The role involves assisting with safety, health, and environmental (HSE) concerns within a small plant or platform setting, or during specific shifts. The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the continuous functionality of safety, security, and fire protection resources, operating strictly within established instructions and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage follow-up actions for final site investigation reports and maintain the phrase library and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Maintain essential HSE documentation, including procedures, manuals, guidance documents, and records.
• Assist in facilitating relevant training programs and conduct classroom lectures and testing for both groups and individuals.
• Participate in risk assessments and job reviews under supervision to identify and prevent HSE hazards.
• Generate required reports, data, graphs, and records, such as daily and monthly reports, utilizing computer systems.
• Assist in the coordination of HSE inspections and follow up with various departments to ensure the implementation of recommendations.
• Ensure that HSE equipment is inspected, maintained, and calibrated in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Undertake compliance monitoring and measurements of key HSE parameters.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in safety, health, and environmental management, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

This is a full-time position based at Taldeen's facilities in Hail, Saudi Arabia. The role requires presence on-site within a plant or platform environment.
