The Role: Senior Health, Safety & Security Advisor

Almarai is seeking a dedicated Senior Health, Safety & Security Advisor for a full-time position based in Hail. This role is crucial for ensuring that the Health, Safety & Security (HSS) performance and control at the Hail Poultry site are managed and maintained in strict adherence to Almarai's HSS policy. The advisor will also oversee HSS aspects for Poultry sales operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Health, Safety & Security performance and control at the Hail Poultry site.
• Ensure all HSS activities align with the established Almarai HSS policy.
• Oversee the Health, Safety & Security protocols and performance for Poultry sales operations.

Qualifications and Professional Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in health systems science or a related field.
• NEBOSH Certificate or a Post Graduate Certificate in Health, Safety/Security, or an equivalent qualification.
• Technical member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (Tech SP) OR a Graduate Member of JOSH (GRADOSH), or OSHA certification.

Required Experience and Technical Expertise

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as an HSS Manager for an organization.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as an HSS Manager specifically within a Poultry Factory environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of senior management experience in risk and fire prevention.
• Demonstrated excellent technical knowledge of food manufacturing processes.
• Good knowledge of international codes and standards related to security, access systems, and prevention (*, NFPA, FPA, LPC).
• Trained in incident command and capable of safely and securely managing all types of incidents, including fire, explosion, chemical incidents, and those resulting in casualties.
• Proven ability to conduct thorough accident investigations.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 standards.
