About the Senior Team Manager Role

Role Overview

The Senior Team Manager will be responsible for leading a self-directing, multi-functional team. The primary objective is to efficiently manage the intake of birds and the processing of poultry products to meet internal customer requirements. This must be achieved within defined management performance parameters, ensuring strict adherence to Product Specifications, Quality, and Safety Standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a multi-functional team to ensure efficient poultry processing.
• Oversee the intake of birds and processing of poultry products.
• Ensure adherence to defined Product Specifications, Quality, and Safety Standards.
• Meet internal customer requirements within established performance parameters.
• Propose plant modifications and process optimizations to reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Foster a cooperative working relationship with superiors, peers, and subordinates.
• Develop a team environment to boost employee output.
• Train personnel for required job functions and develop a multicultural workforce.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Sciences, or Poultry Disciplines.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in an ISO/HACCP-accredited rendering plant, supplying EU-categorized product.
• Knowledge of Meat Processing Plant & Packaging (Meat Rendering).
• Operational knowledge and skills in food safety systems and audits.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Competency in implementing international quality standards.
• Ability to manage a multinational and multifunctional workforce.
• Ability to work in coordination with a multicultural workforce.

This is a full-time position based in Hail, Saudi Arabia.
