Job Description
About the Team Manager Role
Almarai is seeking a Team Manager to oversee a self-directing, multi-functional team. This role is based in Hail and involves full-time employment. The primary objective is to efficiently manage the intake of poultry and the processing of specified poultry products to meet internal customer requirements while adhering to management performance parameters, including process efficiencies and zero non-conformance. The position requires strict adherence to defined product specifications, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
The Team Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing a self-directing, multi-functional team in poultry intake and processing operations.
- Ensuring that all processing activities meet internal customer requirements and performance targets.
- Maintaining adherence to product specifications, quality, and safety standards.
- Proposing plant modifications and process optimizations to reduce costs and improve service levels.
- Maintaining a safe working environment and minimizing accidents within the team.
- Developing a team environment to boost employee output and foster a multicultural workforce.
- Training team members for required jobs and developing their skills.
- Collaborating effectively with superiors, peers, and subordinates.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the following criteria:
- A Bachelor's degree in Poultry Processing, Food Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within the poultry or food industry.
- Demonstrated understanding of implementing international quality standards such as ISO 9000 and HACCP.
- Experience managing both multinational and multifunctional workforces.
- Proven experience in finalizing production and maintenance plans and targets with the production management team.
- Exposure to automated process control in production environments.
