Supervisor Production

About the Role

NADEC Foods is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to manage daily dairy manufacturing operations in Harmah, Eastern Region. This full-time role focuses on ensuring consistent achievement of production targets, quality standards, food safety requirements, and operational efficiencies within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to meet production plans and output targets.
• Ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging materials for uninterrupted operations.
• Assign tasks and manage workforce activities according to operational requirements.
• Oversee receiving, pasteurization, homogenization, and packaging processes.
• Monitor production line performance and take prompt action to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with product quality specifications, GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements.
• Review laboratory results and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Monitor line efficiency, production rates, yield, and waste reduction initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop production staff while maintaining workplace discipline.
• Manage shift schedules, attendance, and manpower allocation.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to address equipment breakdowns and ensure operational readiness.
• Support preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental requirements, including proper PPE usage.
• Investigate operational incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Prepare and review daily production reports covering output, waste, downtime, efficiency, and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a production supervision role.
• Proven experience in dairy, food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing environments.
• Strong leadership capabilities and hands-on operational experience.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
