About the Electrical Engineer Role

alfanar Group is seeking a fresh graduate Electrical Engineer for a full-time position in Jazan. This role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are eager to contribute to project execution and development within the electrical domain.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary objective of this position is to plan, control, and monitor the execution of electrical project tasks. The role ensures that these tasks are completed efficiently, on time, and to defined quality standards, aligning with departmental operational plans and development objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform erection, testing, and commissioning of Power/Distribution transformers at site and factory.
• Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, and testing of power/distribution transformers.
• Inspect transformers upon arrival and perform necessary tests.
• Verify the availability of all transformer accessories.
• Check impact recorders and collect data.
• Assess requirements for cranes or other equipment for transformer assembly/disassembly at sites or factories.
• Perform routine electrical tests of transformers in the factory and at site according to international standards.
• Execute low voltage electrical tests at the site.
• Plan daily site activities to ensure timely job completion.
• Perform erection of transformer accessories, vacuuming, and oil filtration as per quality procedures.
• Conduct in-process testing of transformers during repair or manufacturing stages.
• Coordinate with marketing, planning, and customers for gate passes and work permits.
• Ensure best practices are followed for the testing of Power and Distribution transformers.

Team Leadership and Development

This role involves training subordinates and forming effective teams to achieve work objectives. It requires providing leadership, coaching, and direction to team members, delegating assignments appropriately, and ensuring fair task distribution to maintain morale and motivation.

Operational Delivery and Problem Solving

The engineer will perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets within delivery schedules, utilizing resources effectively for cost and time efficiency. This includes providing periodic reports detailing deviations and execution progress. The role also requires resolving related problems and escalating complex operational issues when necessary.

Quality, Compliance, and Safety

Ensuring quality requirements are met through effective quality control processes is essential. The role demands compliance with related policies, procedures, and work instructions. Furthermore, adherence to relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls is critical to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and the delivery of high-quality products and services.
