About the Role

alfanar is seeking a fresh graduate Electrical Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, located in the Central Region of Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience looking to begin their career in electrical engineering within a dynamic construction and manufacturing environment.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary purpose of this role is to plan, organize, and control electrical project activities to ensure successful completion. The Electrical Engineer will work within the guidelines set by the Project Manager, adhering to established schedules, budgets, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) policies. alfanar operates in electrical, electromechanical, and civil engineering construction, as well as manufacturing and marketing electrical construction products, with main divisions including alfanar electric, alfanar Construction, and alfanar Building Systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project electrical documents, including methodology, quality assurance, control procedures, engineering, and construction time schedules.
• Prepare and review technical submittals such as designs, specifications, drawings, calculations, method statements, TPIs, and risk assessments for compliance with client, authority, end-user, and international standards.
• Oversee and inspect site installation work daily, witness tests, identify non-compliance with construction documentation, and recommend corrective measures.
• Coordinate daily with the Team Leader and other team members to verify, document, and report quality issues of subcontractor work, and provide suggested corrective actions.
• Ensure all construction activities run smoothly at the site and review progress.
• Conduct technical meetings and maintain constant follow-up with Client Design and Engineering Divisions.
• Maintain the quality standards of all electrical activities as per the project quality plan.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates.
• Delegate tasks to subordinates and ensure fair distribution of work.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time constraints.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
• Resolve related problems and escalate complex operational issues.
• Ensure quality requirements are met through effective quality control processes.
• Comply with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Work Experience: Fresher - 0-1 years.
